All the King's horses and all the king's men
..Humpty Dumpty was a happy young fellow who had his life ahead of him
He made everyone smile, he was that gentleman that made even grouchy the dwarf beam.
Humpty would sing and dance for little ones who somehow appeared to be sad
Every girl was impressed and said to themselves, “Humpty would make a great dad”
To the older folk, Humpty was a dear and always one to do a good deed.
They would laugh and say to themselves “That Humpty is such a good kid’’

When he walks the street, people call out his name, and he gives them the friendliest wave.
But when he goes back home and takes off his mask, Humpty has a tear stained face.
He’d pour himself a glass of whiskey and say “Everything will be fine”
But the demons inside would quickly reply “Humpty, don't tell yourself lies”

“If I do enough good” he thought to himself “maybe, It would help with this anguish”
But with every breath that Humpty took, the more he felt the sadness.
“maybe I need to get some help. I cannot live with this madness”
“Oh” his demons mocked, “you want everyone to know that you're damaged”,

Humpy would scream and scream until his throat went sore,
Then he would cry until he could cry no more.
Then lay wide awake on the hard, cold floor
Until he saw the rise of the early morn.

The cycle repeats,
walks down the street, pretends to be happy and young
Everyone was clearly blind as nobody saw he was numb.
“you will be fine. I know how you feel” he says to a girl whose depressed
“that's a clearly a lie for Humpty you see, your life is clearly the best”
If only she knew, what would she think if she saw the cuts on his wrist
“depression” he says “isn’t the tears on a face. It’s the fake smile that stays on the lips”
She doesn’t understand, but she gives him a hug and speaks what she thinks is the truth
“I hate my life. Dear Humpty you see, I wish I were happy like you”
As she walked away his demons laughed at the words of the foolish young girl
“The folly of innocence. Don’t be like Humpty dear, his life is a mess”
“Stop”
“Humpty, you are a waste”
“Stop”
“you can't escape”
“Stop!”
“You're such a coward, we see the fear on your face”
“stop”
“Poor Humpty, you're going insane”
He didn't say stop this time. He didn't fight, he just wept.
He yelled as he walked towards the mountain top
revealing to people who cared to stop
“I'm dying!! I'm dying. I've had enough”!

People tried to calm him down, but he began to run
Until he reached the edge of the mountain top
He laughed and laughed as he took a deep breath
And despite the screams of people who were his friends
He casually leaped from the mountain's edge.

His body cracked, but he didn't mind
“It beats the pain I hold inside”
His body was fixed but his mind was never the same
As all the king’s horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
