I remember the day
It was an Inter school Quiz competition ;
When I was in class five ..
Some dusted memories of older
competitions were also flashed ,
But I was too small to recollect
So that one was special ..
there were various competitors but
I was deserving and proclaimed winner in my teachers eyes but the only problem
that time it was boys vs girl and all team were filled except mine as I was the only girl participant so to prepare another girl
to make my teammate was a uphill task
a single student couldn’t form a group
I remember how I manage to make one of my friend as my co participant. she still admits that she was for namesake and won because of me..
one more interesting thing happened
the day people started calling me vidur jee
word vidur ji extracted from vidushi
means intellect and knowledged
oh the feelings were surreal
I remember how that winning
made me champ in
the eyes of everyone’s pride ,
That was the actual Reward
along with beautiful prize …
