Not Every Girl
Remembering what my Mom has told me when I was 12.

"You should get yourself in a shape of a Beauty Queen, and join pageant to make me proud."

But not every girl.

When I was 4, I started playing Tekken and Metal Slug, sitting my ass all day in front of the Playstation.

Unlike the other girls.

When I was 6, I remembered myself wrestle with my Uncles as I watched it on TV during as late as 10:00 pm.

Not like the other little girls.

When I was 8, I used to collect Pokémon miniatures and cards, and Yugi-oh cards. And I bought them almost everyday after school.

More likely, I am just the only girl played it in our room.

When I was 13, I played Pokémon roms, and Tekken on the PSP.

I don't think every girl does.

When I was 14, I'm joining bet games about Basketball, and my Dad is my own rival because our team are the opposing aces of Basketball.

Unlike the other teen age girls in my school.

Growing up, I used to forget what my likes to change it into a girly thing.

I tried practicing make ups, and shape up to join a pageant.

In short, I tried to forget who I am for the sake of society's approval, especially my Mom.

But I can never neglect my own self. Right from the very start, I was never good at chinese garters, not even with fashion games. Not even in jackstone. I have Barbie Dolls, but never a fan of Barbie Movies.

I'm now on my 20. Exact age.

And I am glad living the life of doing what I want.

My Dad and I are now enjoying the conversation every time Tekken Tournament is on air. He was a hustler playing that game back then.

My friends are gamer boys, and I can relate whenever we shout the Metal Slug Rewards.

I still have my Pokémon deck, and looking forward playing new releases like Pokémon Sword and Shield.

I also love watching WWE again, and currently cannot wait for the Summer Slam 2020.

And the best of all.

I'm starting my career as an Online Game Streamer of Facebook Gaming. So far, I got almost 1.5k follows already in less than a year. Not so many, but enough for a not famous personality like me.

And all I do now is to wait for GOD's opportunities to come, and I'll follow my dreams.

I may not be what my Mom wants me to be. I may not make her proud for having me, but not every girl are born for makeups and fashion shows.

Not every girl.
