The rain then subsided, and the wind wound down. We propped up our heads, and flopped up our ears looking out the window.

A form was coming back to the shelter carrying large bags  to the front entrance. The skies were clearing and the clouds flowed on by. The Sun beamed a rainbow so big it filled the view. And the trees swayed gently as a squirrel scurried across jumping from tree to tree looking for stray acorn nuts.

A lone leave blew threw the opened window and we pounced and bounced with glee just as she came in the back with us.

Miss Snow made it safely here after the rain. A true test of Faith and Belief that we hang on through the test of time when we think of the worse, and expect the best. Heaven saw us through till the end.

As for the shelter, we're proud to say it is doing quite well. Over time, it did swell three times. New pups and blue pups, old dogs and wise dogs they came with wagging tails.

And now they are part of our great family along with Miss Jenny who joined Miss Snow.

I am Queen Latifah, and this is our Home.

And we are all Happy!
