Oak stopped speaking just to look and see Rain’s eyes looking at him in disbelief, brief confusion and enchantment. He smiled and then continued, ‘so I accepted because I knew that I could help others as I believed in the old man when none of the busy people did.

Oak paused again and then whispered to Rain, who was beside him watching the stars, ‘don’t you see? the old man is our Creator, Rain, He created you and me, and the busy people and He even gave you your name!’ Rain gasped, her eyes widened in utter surprise, ‘wow’ she exclaimed, ‘I think I understand it better now’. She then continued by saying with heartfelt gratitude ‘thank you Oak for believing in the old man when no one else did, I have always seen his peace amongst all the chaos, He lives in everything’.

He replied gladly ‘Rain, you are so special to me, I’ve been with you all the way, and so has the old man. He told me that He will never leave your side’. Oak paused timidly as a rose-tinted blush stained his face. Then he sweetly whispered into her attentive ears ‘and I never will too’.
