Abscond the darkness ( Chapter - 33 )
Julia's P.O.V~
My heart stopped for a moment not able to believe what I was seeing in front of my eyes and without knowing I mumbled.
"Nathan?"
He was walking inside wearing royal red uttariya giving off a regal aura , his each step making everyone shiver and I looked around , so I am the ONLY one shocked?
I looked back at the boy , who wasn't looking like a boy anymore , his each step and expression speaking dominance and regalty making me almost shake too , our eyes locked briefly and I could see the flicker of warmth in them when they locked in mine.
A small smile embraced his lips and I could see it , no one else could see that because of their head bowed down other than ME .I gulped and looked away and after looking away felt a gloomy glare from his side which I ignored.
Soon the ceremony commenced and he was to take vows to protect his land and think of his people in front of Lord Shiva's statue and priests. But wasn't he a Christian? What's going on ?
Everything is too messy I can't understand a thing right now , I pressed my lips together frowning and where is dad?
As his 'Rajyabhishek' was going on , I couldn't for even a moment glance somewhere else other than him , I still can't understand what is going on , I have so many questions and HE is the answer key to it .
He pledged to uphold justice, protect the people, maintain peace, and govern with wisdom and fairness. It was a solemn ceremony where he reaffirms his commitment to serve his kingdom and its people.
As the ceremony ended everyone sat back down on their seats including me , but couldn't look at him right now and kept pressing my lips together either looking down or away.
"मैं इस गद्दी की शान और मेरे जनता के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारी को ध्यान में रखते हुए यह स्वीकार करता हूँ कि मेरी सत्ता के अधीन किसी भी अन्याय की स्थिति नहीं होगी। मैं न्याय के साथ सत्य, समर्पण और समानता के मार्ग पर चलने का प्रण करता हूँ। मेरा उद्देश्य हमेशा अपने राज्य की खुशहाली, शांति और समृद्धि की रक्षा करना होगा।"
