A PAGE FROM MY DIARY
As I walked onto stage, the words of the previous speaker echoed in my mind. It was an event honouring women & those whom have inspired a change. I love being a woman, I'm all for standing up against abuse and injustice, not just against woman but men, children & animals too. Whilst I support women & encourage a society in which women have the same opportunities. I, by no means feel I have the right to bring men down. So when the last speaker said,
"Men have a tendency of being deceitful, Im sure Vireka will agree with me"
I was determined to set the record straight & shared these words, some of which I'm about to share with you 🌹

Am I teaching my sons to respect women
No... Im teaching them to respect EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING
Am I teaching my sons to never hurt a woman
No... Im teaching them that they should never be the cause of ANOTHER persons suffering no matter who they are
Am I teaching my sons to treat women equally
No.. Im teaching them to see EVERY PERSON as an equal despite their race, gender or religion
Am I teaching my sons to honor & give God like qualities to the women he calls mum
DEFINITELY NOT, after all a man plays a huge part in bringing children into this world. His inability to carry a baby inside him is not a choice he made. Why should we take all the credit for this miracle? A father, like a mother, worries, cries, & shares his child's pain, perhaps not showing it the way we do, but he does. I'm far from having any God like qualities, infact my choice of words when I'm angry is proof of that😊. Yes there are dads whom are not the best of examples but I assure you, there are many mothers out there whom are not any different. Yes women have come a long way, despite the injustice some still endure, women are making their marks & proving their worth & abilities, which is great. BUT, With all due respect to you Mrs Kamal, I have to correct you, I DON'T AGREE WITH WHAT YOU SAID. Simply because you had a bad experience with your ex husband doesn't mean all men are like that. We go on saying we want a change but we are not changing by constantly been insulting & judging, is this not injustice? There are great and wonderful men out there, & oneday when my sons find their ideal girlfriends, I would hate to think that she would judge my son according to any negative experiences she may have had with other men. We need to step forward & make our world a better one, not just for women, but for EVERY LIVING CREATION.
