Panchmarhi:A Memorable Trip-3
Panchmarhi:A Memorable Trip-3

Actually, roads are not built till the seeing point. Safari has to be parked at parking ,then reach to the spot on foot.Further, We came Apsara Vihar through the man made path on foot. Deep inside the jungle of Pachmarhi, Apsara Vihar is a lovely, serene waterfall, cascading from 30 feet height and forming a pool of cold water below. This is one of the most popular haunts for travellers and picnickers to take a break from the monotony and spend some time splashing in the water and taking in the ambience of the place. Some people say that the British women used to sweem here naked. One day tribals had seen them. They thought angels were swimming because they had never seen such white skin lady. Since then it was named as Apsara Vihar. We played with water there ,had fun and moved towards Bee Falls, one of most adventurous point.A beautiful waterfall which provides drinking water to the entire Pachmarhi, Bee falls provide a picturesque view. By moving almost 200 ft down the hill,we got there. Already,a number of travellers enjoying there, mostly in pairs, some families, friends etc. We put off our clothes, kept mobile, watches in the bag, entered the bath point under the fall. We had enough bath there. Water falls on you almost 250 feet above, very cold, feels like bees biting. That's why called Bee Falls.
After sacred bath, the whole body became Cool and stagnant. There left no power to go up. Anyhow we reached the parking. The Driver took us to a hotel up there itself. There we had lunch, then some power felt into the body.We sat under sun .Recharged ourselves, moved further through the Satpura National Park, enjoying the greenery, deer, rabbit, and many wild animals movements, reached Jatashnkrcaves. The Jata Shankar Caves in Pachmarhi are considered sacred as they are popularly believed to be the place where Lord Shiva concealed himself from the wrath of Bhasmasur. Here , we prayed to God,almighty to make us good man.

Again Went to Dhoopgarh, The highest point in the Satpura range. Dhoopgarh hilltop is a beautiful spot to see marvelous sunsets and sunrises. However, this point can only be reached by trekking. The trekking route is relatively tough as it passes through some waterfalls and valleys. After that we reached
Pridarshini point. This is the point from where Captain James Forsyth discovered Pachmarhi in the year 1857. It was only after this that Pachmarhi was recognized as a hill station and a resort. Priyadarshini point gives an eagle's eye view of the entire hill station and its serene landscape.Moving ahead furhter came Reechgarh,Deep inside the jungle. It is a cave where reech used to stay in group in older times. Above the cave the echo point is there. When standing over there you call a name ,the same echo you will hear 10 secs after. It is because there is a mountain at some distance from here. Sound reflects from there.

At last we reached Rajendragiri sunset point , because the was almost going to set.To enjoy this moment,we came sunset point.Rajendragiri sunset point is a spectacular sunset viewpoint near Pachmarhi, named after the first president of India - Dr Rajendra Prasad as he was a frequent visitor to this spot. As the sun sets beyond the distant hills, you can simply take in the ambience of the place or get busy with your camera to capture the moment .We sat on the rock and saw the Beauty of sun going down the horizon. We clicked so many pictures there. Then ,got back to the hotel with a long-lasting memory of beautiful Nature. We left some points because of lack of time. Here Couples come for honeymoon, elderly come for peace. They live here full week and go everywhere.

Really,it was thrilling! First time we felt, how nice our Nature is. So we must protect it. We should adopt living with nature.

Thanks .....
