CH.1. HELP ME!

All dark and lonely, I stayed in this space until a voice called out, "Please! Help! Me! I..." before her voice disappeared she had one last remark but couldn't finish them.
Waking up in a cold sweat and a rushing adrenaline, I find myself on the velvet floor of a marbled, light blue hallway. Everything was huge and extravagant, just like it would in a palace. I sat there trying to catch my breath and strength to get up. Everything was strange. As I looked around while gathering my strength, I noticed that the hallways didn't seem to end in any directions. It was more strange to why it was really hard for me to breath. Like I lost something and my body is sucking just enough to fill the void.
It was useless trying to catch my breath. I was just going to sit there for the rest of my time trying to catch something that I lack. Crawling to the wall, I felt like there was chains on my neck, wrists, ankles and chest. Finding a hold on the wall, I used it to stand with all my might and it worked after the third time. At my first attempt something felt like it tugged my neck towards something, but at that time it tugged, I was facing down. It tugged me enough for me to fall face to the red carpet. The second attempt was very easy, but something tugged on my chest and it crippled the rest of my body. I laid on that carpet until I could move and breath enough to function.
That second attempt left me discouraged to try and explore the place. It was so...
