" Lilly .... "

Lilly :- " Yes Peter ..."

Lilly ran towards Peter so concerened .

Lilly :- " what happened??"

Peter :-" I am heading towards office"

Peter said so casually and left the home giving Lilly a small smile.
Even if it was a small smile it did made Lilly go up to could nine.

Peter loved Lilly a lot but he doesn't know how to show his love because he was a cold person. His only concern and world is Lilly.

They have shared sweet moments and memories but still Lilly was not sure that Peter do love her because of his coldness.

Lilly and Peter was standing out admiring the night sky in eachothers embrace . They spet their time while Lilly talked a lot about random stuff and Peter just kept admiring her facial features.

Peter placed a small kiss on her forehead. Lilly smiled and turned her head and asked the same question which is regular for her that she asks him for the past six months.

Lilly :- " Do you love me "

Peter just kept silent.

Lilly :- " Do you ? "

Peter :- " hmmm"

Peter stood up and went towards his bed and laid down closing his eyes. Lilly laid next to him

Lilly :- " Always you just reply with hmm , you have never said 'I love you ' "

Peter :- " One day you will know how much I love you "

after few seconds Peter again broke the silence

Peter :- " Love doesn't always comes in the form of words "

he got no response from Lilly so he looked to the other side just to find her sleeping peacefully.

Lilly :- " honey no it will pain , I don't want this "

Peter :- " it won't dear "

Lilly :- " But why ... I am totally fine then why should I take an injection "

Peter :- " It won't pain , don't you trust me "

Lilly :- " I do trust you. But doctor did said that my heart is in a good condition then why I am in this hospital gown . "

Peter :- " it's just an hospital formality "

Lilly :- " Hmmm , kk "


Peter came out to see the doctor to know the rest formalities.

Doctor :- " we have a bad news and a good news that is also partially bad . The bad news is that her heart is so weak , we couldn't find another doner .

The good news is that the samples that we collected from you as your wish that is perfect for Lilly. "

Ben :- " is it true , can I give her mine "

Doctor :- " yes , but are you sure , you know we can still try for another doner "

Ben :- " it's ok doctor , she can have mine and that would be better that anything else . By that way I can be always with her within her. "

Doctor :- " it's so hard to find such love these days "

Ben gave a week smile and went in to see Lilly .

Lilly was taken back by his reply because it was the first time he said this after their weeding ceremony.

Unknowingly Ben broke into tears when he realised that this there last memory , their last time being together, his last time to feel her warmth , his ever last time to be with her.

Ben ran out of her room and Lilly tried to follow him but the sisters caught her and inducted her.

Two years later



Lilly was staring at the night sky while tears rolling down her cheeks. She wiped it out gently .

Lilly :- " hey Ben , I ate my dinner and took my medicines as a good girl . I am taking care of your heart so well and sleeping on time as well but it's a bit difficult to sleep without you by my side .

A pearl like tear again Rolled down her cheeks and she was fast enough to wipe it out.


Lilly :- " so let me start with my daily question.

Do you love me , If yes how much "

Lilly her mom called out so she ran down start .

Ben :- " I love you so much that I gave you my heart darling "
