The Valentineo Date Part 2
"Why are we going there? You are not planning some stupid romantic lunch right?" I asked as he almost dragged me to the elevator.

The excitement was more than evident on his face as he pushed the button, his feet tapping in barely restrained energy.

"Of course not. That is so cliche and boring. Why on earth would I do that? I am hurt to know that you think I am such a bore." He asked melodramatically, placing his hand on his heart.

I laughed and slapped his hands away. It was weird. The fact that me, a girl who was normally uncomfortable talking to strangers, especially men, was talking so casually with him as though we were old friends. But then Vinita was right, Vansh is a gentleman.

The elevator pinged and opened. He placed his hands on the door to avoid it closing automatically and gestured for me to get in, " Ladies first."

I rolled my eyes, though internally I was pleased that he was not among those men who just walked in and expected the girl to follow him like a faithful puppy.

He smirked, evidently noticing me not-so-subtlely checking him out. " Like what you see?" He whispered.

I blushed.

"Er...I never said you weren't handsome." I replied averting my gaze and quickly turning around before things got even more embarrassing.

Gods, Did you just flirt with a guy, Varna?

And did he just flirt with you?

I blinked. Maybe not. I wasn't even sure what flirting was.

"I am a costume designer." He whispered near my ears.

The close proximity sent another shiver up my body. I shuffled, trying to put a small distance between us, but alas the lift was fuller than normal.

At that time there was another ping as the lift stopped. Luckily many people got down on the second floor.

But before I could move away, he did, putting a much-needed distance...
