रंग रंग बेरंग मैं
कैसा सा एक रंग मैं,
निकला हूं जिस रंग से
आखिर मिला उसी रंग मैं,
रंग रंग बेरंग मैं

The world is full of colours but I am colourless or you can say l have a colour that appear to be colourless,
From what I came from
Returned to that colour again.
Afterall I am colourless

जो कुछ मिला हंसकर लिया
जो ना मेरा लौटा दिया,
खुद में मिलाए सौ रंग मैं
रंग रंग बेरंग मैं

What I get, took with a open mind
What wasn't mine, returned it.
I accepted everything everyone with open heart and mix them in myself.
Afterall I am colourless

(Here "when I get " means someone is offering me like things, secrets, trust or even their selves)

जो थे मेरे अपने लगे
जो ना मेरे सपने लगे,
सब छोड़ चला खुद संग मैं
रंग रंग बेरंग मैं

The ones who were with me
I thought them as mine,
The ones who weren't with me
I called them dreams that shine,
Living everything, everyone
I am going with myself
Afterall I am colourless.

जाने कैसी ये रीत रही
सबसे आगे क्यों प्रीत रही,
मैं कोई प्रेम पुजारी नही
मैं मनचला हूं बेढंग मैं
रंग रंग बेरंग मैं

I don't know why this became custom
Why they put love before everything,
I am not a love worshiper
I am moody I am ununiform.
Afterall I am colourless.

मां - बाप के चरणों की धूल
शरीर का कवच लगे,
चाहे आए सौ मुश्किलें
यही खड़ा बजरंग मैं
रंग रंग बेरंग मैं
रंग रंग बेरंग मैं.
Dust of parents feet
Feels like a protective armour,
Even if there are a hundred difficulties
I am standing here like bajarang.
Afterall I am colourless.
( Bajarang is a name of a Hindu god which is usually used to demonstrate strength and here it is demonstrating poet's will )
