The Last Weekend
The last weekend was the first of many more weekends together. Judith and I never liked each other. She was too different to like me, and I was too different to like her.

Though I couldn't understand liking her whenever she made an appearance, I found my heart strongly aroused to vulnerability each time she happened by chance to look at me.

No one really got Judith at school, which made me embarrassed that I stared at her with so much glowing fascination. She never seemed to take offense in that though. Nor did she pay attention to it.

Until one summer day I dragged my feet towards her and said, "Hi."
