Our martyr
All of us,colleagues, our top bosses including his own family were exasperated & tired of waiting for him. Due to strict protocols and social distancing norms;we were left without any option but to wait inside our respective cars on such hot and humid afternoon.

Being our admin in-charge, we found it was highly irregular of him to be such late but none of us were complaining.Afterall, this man had helped each and everyone of us in so many ways during his past 28 year's of long service in our organization.

Finally, he was arrived;fully wrapped in a white body-bag in ambulence (which was delayed due to posthumas covid procedures before handing over a body). We all knew that he'd fought a fierce battle with covid and succumbed to it so all of us had gathered outside the cemetary waiting for him.

It was about a week ago, his PCR test results came positive after he'd visited an embassy to expedite travel clearance for one of our collegues whose mother had expired in his home country (which was currently under lock-down)

We quitely marched towards cemetary to pay our last respect to our hero, a martyr who'd selflessly sacrificed his life on the battle-ground for us.

He would always remain in our thoughts & prayers.
