Write a short story about how much easier it is to fix mistakes on a word processor or computer than it is in real life.



As I sit down and write this story on a word document. I realise how easy it is for me to delete the repeated or misfit words and rewrite them to make sense.

Once I finish working on a project, I proofread it to look for errors and quickly press the delete button and replace it with a suitable word or sentence.

I wish the same could be possible in real life too. Well, unfortunately, it is not the same.

Time is that factor that keeps moving, it doesn’t stop nor it takes a U-turn.

Have you ever asked a question to yourself, what could you change about your life, if you could turn back time?

I’m sure everyone would have something or the other to make corrections about something they committed in the past.

But the truth of the matter is that the past has already passed, it won’t come back again, and neither you could go back in time to undo the mistakes you’ve already made.

We all did mistakes in the past, and we are, where we are because of certain decisions we took followed by their respective consequences.

Every choice you made and the mistake has taught you something important. Everything in life is a lesson in disguise.

We are humans and bound to make mistakes. Undoing past mistakes, shall not prevent you from making mistakes in the future.

Accept past hurts and mistakes, forgive yourself, and move on. In order to live a life that is fulfilled and truly happy, you must live in the present and without regrets.

Start appreciating the moments that today offers!
