WHO IS SATAN?
This question is the Greatest of all questions in the holy scriptures because it is looking at some one who is very very secretive and very much cunning Spidorar being. Many people give a very simple but fallacious answers to this question. I won't follow that trend, let me give my own answer which my God Lord SUYAN gave me.
Satan was created in the fifth day of creating large and small creatures which live in the Sea under water because Satan the devil himself is the Gigantic Serpent or Snake living under water. God Lord SUYAN had willfully created him as Satan the adversary in the beginning for the purpose of trying and testing people's faith the role that God Lord SUYAN can not do because he doesn't tempt people so he assigned satan the duty of testing his people (Isaiah 27:1 and also Job 26:13).
Just after the creation of Eve in Eden, Satan went on and tempted her. She was the weaker vessel she failed the test. Just after getting baptized by John, Jesus Christ was led into the wilderness to be tested but he defeated the devil.
God Lord SUYAN himself took part in the discussion of sending the trials to his man Job but luckly enough Job had defeated in his trials. Don't take it lightly when you are tempted, know that God Lord SUYAN has allowed it so that he sees the strength of your faith.
Tempting all the people in the world of their faith is the main reason why Satan was created. It was not wrong for God to create Satan but just stand firm in your faith and defeat the devil. Everyone who is able to endure temptations and defeat the devil will be crowned Victor at the end of time (James 1:12-14). All staunch children of God are put on trials and their God allows it (Hebrews 12:1-7). But the illegitimate children doesn't go into tests because they don't have the father to send them. At school, at the end of the stipulated period of learning the examination is given. So man's examination master assigned by God is Satan. We should not run away from these trials that the devil is giving us. Let's stand firm in faith and resist him.
The man who was called "Lucifer" was Nimrod the president of the State of Babel in Shinar. Nimrod was the great hunter before God. This is not normal hunting of animals in the bush but he was the first man who created politics and built a political Government at Babel and his government built that famous tower of Babel where the kingdom of Babylon came from.
If you examine the statement in Isaiah 14:4-12, you will find that the entire statement was specifically addressed to the king of Babylon Lucifer who was Nimrod. Nimrod was the greatest politician who created the first ever Republican State at Babel and he went on creating many more political States in other places mentioned there in Genesis 10:8-12).
Satan the devil had never been to heaven remember that he is a serpent or snake, how could the snake go into heaven? And Satan had never been an Angel of God, how can the snake be an Angel?
Satan is correctly named in the book of Genesis that Eve was deceived by the serpent, not by an Angel.
In fact the devil Satan initiated this fallacy of calling him "Lucifer" for him to hide his identity. He was Satan ever since he was created on the fifth day of the week in the beginning.
It's one of the longest topic which will go on for so many years but the plain truth is that Satan was created Satan willfully by God Lord SUYAN and he will kill him at the end of this age.
