I closed my eyes the moment the hunter, Ryan, fired a shot from his rifle. Thankfully, the bullet bounced off my scales. I growled then I felt my body begining to burn, I never felt this before but I'm curious to what it means. "Okay, this is the last time I let these amoebas live!" my other side yelled then our scales lifted then multicolor fire rose out of under our scales. The rest of the hunters immediately aimed at me as Ryan reloaded his gun. "I... I didn't, what is this Ryan?!" Carl asked as he backed up from the intense heat raidiating from my body. "I don't know but no, I lied about joking and now you see this thing so..." Ryan said while he panted heavily. My secondary stomach burned then my other side made me release the hottest and best flames I had ever seen, and felt. The hunters ran after firing shots and the multicolor fire was engulfing the forest. My eyes burned and so did every part of my large body. The pain made me screech and snarl, I was going mad. "Why did you have to do this?! It didn't have... to... be this way..." I said angirly before I started to get weak. The flames suddenly vanished from the forest and the fire on my body receded back under my scales. My vision blured and I couldn't breath, it wasn't long until I passed out and my body crashed to the ground.
I woke in a forest of ash and dead trees. The sky is dark blue so it was the next morning or night. My human body was throbbing in pain as I groan and try to move. I sat up against a fallen dead tree and tried to reaccumulate my thoughts. I remember that I need to get home before grandma gets up. I scramble to my throbbing feet then asked in my head, "Look I won't ask anything else just get me home please?" No anwser but my body suddenly is ingulfed by a multicolor light then I am suddenly in my room. I am in front of my large mirror and I see that every purple and blue vein in my body is visable. I also see a colorful glow coming from my lower part of my chest. "Okay scratch that, what is that?" I asked. My amulet anwsered in a surprised tone, "Our core or what keeps us alive." "Soo... why is it in me now? What is happening to my body? I mean, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!" I asked panicked and that seemed to cause the core to pulse hard and fast enough that I can feel it. I began to panick more and that made my veins start to have a glowing pulse with the core. When my body began to burn, I knew I needed to calm down. "You're right, I'll spare you the questions until night comes..." I said angirly then started to put on new pajamas and my body calmed as I took deep breathes.
