*NPP ACTIVISTS CAUTIONED MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR ATWIMA MPONUA TO STAY AWAY FROM DCE APPOINTMENT.

Some Concerned NPP Activists in the Atwima Mponua has stated that, a reliable pieces of information emanating from the constituency indicate that, M.P for Atwima Mponua Hon Isaac Kwame Assiamah is surprisingly, disappointingly and clandestinely supporting the NPP constituency chairman Mr Kofi Marfo to be appointed as the district chief executive.

According to them, the MP has had a meeting with some NPP polling station executives telling them who he think can help the district when appointed as the District Chief Executive which is evidently clear and proven as now understood in the said conversation that, he had the constituency chairman in mind to support that is why he (M.P) halted and frustrated the process.

This is astonishing because it was because of his comments that triggered and angered some NPP youths in the constituency to destroyed the party office a weeks ago.

"You have unfortunately credited your triumph in the 2020 elections to chairman Marfo forgetting that it was the sound policies of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and individual efforts that significantly cascading effect of the independent candidate that ultimately gave you a win," they alledge.

In fact, if not the pain and dispiritedness that chairman Marfo and the then DCE William Darko caused in majority of NPP members, the margin of win between NPP and the NDCs candidate would have been wider.

They also alledge that, both the DCE and the constituency chairman abandoned their duties immediately after the election was declared and ran to Accra for over a month seeking new appointments without thinking about the district.

They are urging president Nana Akofu-Addo to ignore both the constituency chairman and the DCE Hon William Darko and appoint a neutral person who has the NPP party and the district at heart to head the district as the District Chief Executive if they want to maintain their seat in 2024.
