The Haunted trail
(Josef's P.O.V?
After we got away from the house and away from the dead unbloody body we went to the next most supernatural place. The haunted trail. I know it doesn't sound that scary but like around two hundred people died there or went missing and those are the ones we know about.
"Why's Lilian not talking to me" Dandelion huffed, ever since she saw Lilian it was like she had a spark of hope that everything would be the same.
"Dandelion, you're dead nobody would act the same around you" I responded, I really was trying to be nice but Lilian was acting off with all of us. That's why Josef's talking to her so much, he's trying to get answers. Dandelion sighed, with the look of all hope draining out of her.
"I hate that trail" she said, looking up seeing we were so close to it. I nodded, we went there once for a field trip. Liam almost died. It was so bad, he would've died if Josef wasn't there with his medical knowledge and Lilian's paranormal knowledge, in fact we'd all probably die if it wasn't for those two. Once we got to the entrance there was a noticeable change in temperature. Josef was the first to step in, he looked back expecting us to follow with ease.
"Are you fucking insane, do you not remember at happened last time" Lilian said, she was hugging herself to keep warm due to the coldness. I couldn't help but agree with her. It really was crazy that he stepped onto that trail with no hesitation.
"Oh c'mon you can sacrifice me if anything bad happens" he said, we didn't move towards him we just stayed in the same spot.
"If anything happens I'll pay for the health bills and nurse back to health as much as I can" he sighed. Everyone seemed happy with that agreement and started walking. It was chilly in the forest, you could hear howls of animals and well people who are long gone. Lilian stayed close to Josef and I could hear them talking about something.
"So uh, you know where we're going?" I asked, I was trying to make it less awkward and I was actually wondering.
"Yea we do" Lilian responded, she looked forward like she was expecting something and then went back to talking to Josef.

(Lilian's P.O.V)
"You sure we saw it here?" He asked, keeping his voice down so the others wouldn't hear. We saw it here years ago, and we kept getting haunted by that same thing.
"I mean that's the 'CR' that we wrote" I said looking at the tree beside us. Then a huge gust of wind came.
"Where the hell did that come from!?!" Dandelions yelled, she was shivering and was obviously about to freeze ghost or not. Me and Josef looked at each other and then back at them.
"Where the hell are we even going?" Dandelion asked, I could tell she wanted to get out as soon as possible.
"We're here" Josef said and I looked around. It looked the same and felt the same.
"Ok?" Arline said, raising a eyebrow. Just then Arline and Dandelion froze in their spots, looking behind us. We both turned around to see the same white eyes we saw all those years ago.
"Hi" I muttered, a nervous smile plastered on my face, Josef made himself smile.
"Man, you've grown!" The being yelled, it seemed to be excited to see us.
"What the hell is that?" Arline asked, both of them just stared at it.
"Ooooh, you brought friends" it said, they were being childish and I would've liked it any other day but today wasn't that day.
"Slenderman and Zalgo" Josef started. The being seemed to lose its excitement and now they just floated in the dark.
"They're sick," Dandelion muttered. Arline nodded.
"How'd two demons get sick, well, nevermind, how sick? It asked.
"Slenderman was very sick like deathly sick when I left" Josef said
"And Zalgo was a little better but not by much" Arline continued. The being seemed to be in deep thought.
"I know of one being who could do that to two demons, but I don't know how'd they affect a demon in a different realm unless" the being trailed off and looked at me. I nodded quickly and it made a 'oh' noise. The silence that followed felt like it was going to swallow me alive.
"You'll need to defeat that thing. The thing lives deeper in the woods in a cave, best of luck if you do go" and with that it disappeared. Arline sighed before looking at Dandelion.
"We're going to fight a demon that's trying to kill other demons," he said. Dandelion nodded
"I got that part, but how?" She asked.
"We all have something to put on the table, we got this" Josef said trying to lift the mood, Dandelion smiled a bit at what he said and Arline laughed.
"I thought you were going to say 'the power of friendship'" Arline laughed out, we all got a chuckle out of that and then started walking off. I knew this was going to be a long trip if we had to take that thing down.
