Enough
WritcoStoryPrompt66
An established businessman lived in an orphanage before the comfortable life he's enjoying at present. There he learned the value of enough is good enough and has to finish chores before he could eat. Continue the lines and come up with a touching story.

As an orphan Daniel was brought up with that mentality that you finish everything you start. And that if you were going to start a meal, you're going to finish it until the plate is clean. And as he grew up although into a life of privilege he had to adapt to that mentality to one of where, 'I eat until I'm full and leave the rest.' And one should never leave a job unfinished, unless they are unable to finish it.
He hated the fact that society has changed that much, the youths of today had too much distraction away from the things which are there to shape them into responsible adults. This could change if they were made to do more chores, and take care of their own rooms. He knew first hand that responsibilities are really important to start them with. And if they have animals, they have to feed them and care for them. Daniel was very humble and would donate to various charities around as he felt he had enough.
He did this because he felt that there is enough in the world for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed.
This generation has taught him that youth is not enough, love is not enough even success is not enough. But he had achieved this a d for him what he had achieved was more than enough.
And as he lie awake in bed he imagined how different it would be if there was an award for people who came to understand the concept of enough. Good enough, Successful enough. thin enough, rich enough, socially responsible enough.
But he also knew that the only award there was for grasping this concept is called self-respect. Because when you have self-respect, you have enough, the road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom. So no-one will ever understand what is enough until he know what is more than enough.
Daniel was very grateful for the life he had in the orphanage, having lost his parents in that horrific accident. Although he missed them throughout the years, he wondered what his life would have been had things turned out differently. And he wqs pleased he didn’t grew up feeling entitled without having humility, self-respect and love in his heart.
And he looked carefully at his only son Joseph, only twelve years old and was already exhibiting some of the same qualities he had. This was proof that young people were having difficulties in becoming successful due to their upbringing. They just don’t understand the meaning of enough, but it’s not their fault. You can’t be wise, without lessons.
Only life lessons from a tender age will teach you the value of enough, this will then become verg obvious in every area of your life.
As you learn to believe that your are magnificent. And gradually to discover that sharing is caring when you’ve had more than enough!!
