“Isn’t this exciting?” My best friend’s excited eyes flit around the dazzling stores on the main street.
“I suppose so.”
My unenthusiastic reply had her turning to me with a frown. “What’s the matter? Aren’t you happy to be out shopping after so many months?”
I shook my head feeling miserable. I could feel the panic rise up so I pretended to search my pockets for my sanitizer. When I found it I poured it liberally over my hands and rubbed them together. There was no room for error, the virus was still around... People think that the virus is completely gone well they're wrong no matter how much we have the ignorance of wearing mask hand sanitizing our hands or washing them regularly, the virus will still be an enemy. We still need to follow protocol the virus is not over yet! I know a feeling of not going to the movies because you just want to social distance yourself from unknown people at the movies trust me I know it's heartbreaking not having to see your friends for a long time it hurts I know but what is more important your friendship or your health? your friendship or your safety?
