This is undoubtedly in the  End Times. Signs of nature  on  Earth  will  serve  as  a  dramatic  testimony  both to  the church  and to  unbelievers.

When  the  prophetic  ministry  fourishes, it is ofen confrmed by signs and wonders. In his sermon on the Day of Pentecost, Peter 
quoted the promise of Joel 2  for a lastdays revival.

 Of course, the last days began with the cross, the Resurrection, 
and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. 

The frst half of the passage in 
Acts 2 speaks of the outpouring of the Spirit and the increase of
prophetic revelation on the entirebody of Christ:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,...
