A long, long time ago in a fragile, fragile galaxy...
After leaving the brown planet Mooyani, a group of youths fly toward a distant speck. The speck gradually resolves into a noisy, space skyscraper.
Civil war strikes the galaxy, which is ruled by Alice DeVito, a charming robot capable of gluttony and even murder.
Terrified, a wide imp known as David Jones flees the Empire, with his protector, Dan Olsson.
They head for Newton Abbot on the planet Solaris. When they finally arrive, a fight breaks out. Olsson uses his fragile gun to defend David.
Olsson and Imp David decide it's time to leave Solaris and steal a fire engine to shoot their way out.
They encounter a tribe of elves. Olsson is attacked and the imp is captured by the elves and taken back to Newton Abbot.
Olsson must fight to save Imp David but when he accidentally unearths a contented map, the entire future of the fragile, brown galaxy is at stake.
