CHAPTER ELEVEN - A TARGET
As Christian was going inside the hospital, he saw Mrs Spencer crying at the end of the corridor and
Mr Spencer and Casey were consoling her. Christian goes near to Casey and asks her .
CHRIS : ( questioningly ) Why is Mrs Spencer crying??
CASEY : It's nothing to worry about. Mom got a bit emotional while she was talking to Karolina . Our mom looks tough outside , but really she is emotional and she is way too much concerned about her family.
CHRIS : oh I see . She is indeed a great mother.
CASEY : yeah, there are no questions of her motherhood. But don't judge her by now , when someone double crosses or disobey her she is like a flaming dragon and sometimes I even observed her eye's conjunctiva turning red. [ conjunctiva means white coloured surface of the eye ]
CHRIS : ( with a smirk in his face ) I hope I will never see her like that .
CASEY : ( smiling ) You better be on her good side.
CHRIS : by the way I was heading to Karolina's room, can you tell me in which room they have shifted her?
CASEY : the room number is AE20 which is in the 3rd floor. Amanda is sitting next to Karolina as doctor said it would be better to have someone watch her as her health level may increase or decrease.
CHRIS : oh thanks for the information.
CASEY :By the way Christian, can you please call Amanda here to the reception and please watch Karolina for awhile untill Amanda returns?
CHRIS : ya for sure , no problem!
As Christian goes to the elevator, and after reaching to the third floor starts to search the room.
CHRIS: ( to himself ) Casey said her room number is AE20 , let me search .... ( Observes each serial number )
.......It is AE18 , next ........It is AE19 , nope ...... it's AE20
Yes , finally I found it . Why these hospital room numbers are soo confusing! Probably only God knows the answer for this question . ( By saying that to himself he enters Karol's room )
As he entered the room he observed Karolina laying in the hospital cot wearing hospital bluish gown with her right hand being injected by the saline bottle and her heart rate and pulse can be seen in the monitor near her bed . There was a chair at the corner where Amanda was sitting reading some women magazine.
CHRIS : hey Amanda , your sister Casey has sent me to pass this message to you that she wants you at the reception .
AMANDA : oh okay , but who will observe Karol then?
CHRIS : don't worry I will stay here until you are back.
AMANDA : thanks Christian.
( Amanda walks out of the room )
Christian pulls the chair closer to the bed and sits in it.
CHRIS : ( by observing every inch of Karolina , says to himself. )
Even though she is under coma she just looks like an angel with the true beauty in herself . She is soo peaceful even though this might be her death bed. It's hard for anyone to insist her charms . Even when she is at her top level of aggressiveness it just makes her even more cuter. I wonder how many boys have already booked their tickets to be her boyfriend or husband. How many had the opportunity to be her boyfriend and how many of them are already ditched by her. WAIT ! ..... Why in the hell I am thinking about her love life?? Does it matter to me whether how many people have dated her?!
"NO OF COURSE NOT YOU IDIOT" !!said my brain, whereas my heart said "THERE IS SOME CONNECTION FOR WHICH YOU BOTH ATTRACT EACH OTHER".
