It starts with a young cellist, having grown tired of the city in Seoul, moves back to her hometown in the countryside in the midst of chilly winter where she meets her schoolmate who runs a bookshop and ends up falling for his warm gesture and affection. Her former classmate and old friend helps her heal from the past wounds and remake herself.
After a series of unfortunate events, the girl finally get to move ahead. In the cold winter, trying to escape the harsh and bitter reality of life, they both find warmth in each other that is enough to melt their long-frozen hearts. Together, they heal from their past scars and eventually fall in love.
