Treasures on dven
The old, treasure chest lay exposed when the storm retreated.I was so dumbfounded that I stayed where I was. I heard a deafening sound from above me. A humongous hole formed right in the middle of the sky-it was like a hole bounded by a halo on an angel's head. There was a sky beyond the hole -brightly colored,with purple and pinkish clouds.I could even see a splendid trees floating gently,with the roots and all- their canopy was dotted with shiny black things that resembled fruits. But I knew they weren't fruits because they were studded on one half with pearls or atleast they looked like that. I thought I was out of my mind and surely imagining things.
Things got worse and weirder then. The world inside the hole seemed to have an abrupt change in it's weather too,like it turned stormy suddenly,here on dven island with abandoned treehouses.
The purple and pinkish clouds were no more. It became pitch black in there and the trees with pearly spheres shone even more beautifully in that darkness.
But there was some kind of eeriness that I sensed.The hole expanded and seemed to engulf this island and the tree house where I just laid out the treasure chest. An outline
appeared in the dark sky and formed into a gloomy faced creature. It collected itself as if it is some scattered jelly,with the texture of soot. Grey and battered looking from top to bottom, it seemed like it didn't belong there. One glance at the human like being,and I could say that it's a tortured poor thing. It had eyes which reflected innocence. The expression on it's face gave it all away-anxiety,and nervousness. It cringed when I gave the slightest movement. It was painful for me to see that,though I still couldn't believe that this is happening for real and I was not sure if the creature was real. It reminded me of the suffering I had in my childhood,which is now just a
memory that reminds me of the agony I endured. I was lost in these thoughts,when it let out a thunderous scream and within the blink of an eye,the treasure chest was gobbled up. It happened as if someone took control of the poor thing-you could see that it is feeble and definitely not capable òf screaming so horribly. You read it right...it ate up the treasure,literally. I didn't mind even i lost the treasure that i acquired after going through so much...but I didn't know what's in it. I was about to scrutinize it,when I began to witness jawdropping sequence of events. I didn't even peep inside it,but I only knew that it had lots of gold coins,and maybe some precious gems like in the treasure chest you saw in tom and jerry movies.
I was a little hurt deep inside for losing the not-so-hard earned money,but decided that I would do something to know more.I understood that something more than just money is in that thing.
