Chapter 8- The Future Talk
It's been two months since we found out I was pregnant and we were supposed to talk about what's gonna happen int the future but we've been busy and I also have been kinda avoiding it like the plague. But my stomach is slowly growing and soon it will be noticeable since he's a hybrid (yes I'm sticking with he) he'll be in my stomach for six months.
Technically it's been three months already so this is my fourth month i have two more months. Anyway, when everyone got to the living room i said ( Sammy, Johnny, Chris, Crystal, Jack, Max)
"We need to talk about what's going to happen in the future and plan for the unexpected and expected"
"We need to make a list of what the baby will need"
" We also need to talk about the worse case which is Johnny dying"
"Done, he can't die because he's a royal and after a certain amount of years he'll wake up"
"But what about Sammy after the last with of your deceased mate has been fulfilled you die"
"Because he's mates with a royal and they have mated already he will go into a death-like coma, so he's alive but it will feel and sound like he's dead until his mate awakens which will send a signal through the link like a wake-up call so he can wake up"
"You really do your research, don't you? also, i can create a safe place where you can rest peacefully just pick a location"
"No that's out the way, how will our son have anything from you if you 'die' and you never answered to my song at the pack meeting three months ago?
" don't worry I'll answer it and if something happens to me before i can I'll take care of that"
"What about your son he won't have anything from you?"
"His spirit can roam around where ever family is as long as they keep his memory alive"

"Yea, mates should be together, tell him to come here"

"So when are you guys getting married"
"Don't worry we have it all planned out, it's going to be soon. We even asked his alpha after telling him about us and the baby"
"Yeah, even a couple people who support us will be there"
Once we were done talking it felt really tense so we all sat on the couch and watched some tv while joking around and having fun. When it was time to go to bed we all said good night and went to our rooms.
While we were laying down to go to sleep I made a vow to make sure that when we leave we will leave behind a forever changing world and our son will be continuing to change it. I even thought about our date.
It's been 2 weeks since the pack meeting/party and right now I and Jhonny are sitting in our living room watching some tv when all of a sudden Jhonny turned the tv off and said
"You know what I just realized?"
While turning his body so he was facing me on the couch
"What?"
"We never went on a date yet we are already mated"
"Well, how can we change that?"
"Will you do me the honor of going on a date with me my love?"
"Of course I'll go out with you"
After I said that he smiled and left me alone to get ready. I hopped in the shower did my normal routine, then got out and looked for the perfect outfit. Once that was taken care of I just sat there and waited for him to come.
While I waited I thought I could surprise him at the end of our date by singing him a song I wrote that shows him how much he affects me and how much I truly need him in my life.
It was about to be time for him to come get me when I realized I never did my hair, so I rushed to the bathroom and started to make my hair manageable (which didn't work) so now my hair is worse.
Anyway, I heard the front door open and knew it was him so I started to walk down the stairs so I can meet him halfway. When we both reached the middle he said the most amazing thing ever
"Are you ready my gorgeous mate!"
"Yea"
I replied back breathless. How could anyone have a normal response to that?
Time skip
Once we made it to the area our date is taking place. He pulled out my chair for me then took his seat after I sat down. After we ordered we just talked about any and everything on our minds till our food arrived.
After we were done eating I said
"I have a surprise for you"
"Oh really, well what is that surprise?"
"You're about to find out"
Then i got up and walked up to the manager of the restaurant and asked if i could sing my song. He said yes because it was karaoke night so i put in my CD and hit play (it was instrumental) when it was time i started to sing while starting at my mate the whole time.
" I still hear your voice, when you sleep next to me.

When i was done singing i walked off stage and up to where my mate was now standing with his arms wide open waiting for me. Once in his arms, he gave me a huge kiss and whispered in my ear that the feeling was 1000% mutual.
Then we spent the rest of the night in our room locked away from the rest of the world.
