God in his infinite mercy made us in His likeness and image, among all other creatures, humans are the only ones he used his hands to make, all other creatures were spoken into existence, which makes us very special to him, and sin crept into the world through our first parents(Adam and Eve), which makes us sinners by birth, but God so loved the world and he does not want a man to just live and perish in his sins which prompted him to send his only son to die and wash away our sins so that when we believe and take Him as our personal Lord and Savior, we will be saved.
