A Child's Remorse - Part 1
Chapter 1
"I am too young to do this"
"I should not be here; it can be dangerous"
"Auntie will be so mad when she will get to know about this"
All those things went inside Ishaan's mind while waiting at the bus
stand, it was very unlike him to do something like this, lying, skipping
school, and running away from home at night.
He thought for a moment that he still wasn’t on the bus he could just go back to his bed and pretend none of this ever happened.
“Yes, I should go I can get into a lot of trouble and it’s not safe at all”
he looked at the road from where he came and started thinking of what excuse he could have to make to justify this if he got caught.
The midnight fog appeared as far as he could see, it was almost
tangible, cloaking everything.
NO! He thought why am I getting so tensed, I am not doing anything
wrong here, I must go and see if she is alright” just as he was thinking
about his dilemma, he heard the bus coming from a distance.
Its headlight barely managing to penetrate the haze. It made its presence known by honking multiple times...
