Brian is the centre of our story and in our last story we learned that Brian got a diamond stone from his grandpa who came to him in form of a snake and gave him powers. Brian was happy and filled with joy. He could do anything he wanted. He decided that he will do everything he always wanted to do. He woke up late that day. Whole night he was dreaming of using those powers. Mother woke him up and he was still having hangover of last evening. He got dressed and was having his breakfast. The slice of sandwich was in his hands when all of a sudden his school bus came.
Mother shouted - Brian ! You will miss your bus, Hurry !!
Brian - Don't worry Mom. I will catch it.
Mum was shocked to hear that from her son who himself told her to hurry everyday. But today watching him so relaxed was surprising her. School Bus had already gone. Mum was angry now but since this happened only once in a while, she didn't say him anything. She gave him some money and asked him to take cab to school.
Brian - You worry too much mummy.
Brian said with a smile.
Mother was angry but watching her cute son smile, made her happy and she put her hand on his cheek and said ," My cutie pie, I am happy to see you smile. Maintain that smile always on your face."
Brian - Sure , I will mother.
He left house and went till end of the Street. Mother was still watching him. He waived her a good bye again. She didn't go back inside and he was waiting for her to go away because he had something in his mind.
Brian - Go mom, I will go.
Mum smiled and went inside. The moment she went in. He climbed up on a big tree and jumped from it.
He was flying again. He flew straight towards his school. He flew at such a high speed that no one could see him. It was as fast as a bullet. He reached school way before the school bus.
He went to his class and sat there. Very few children had come. Everyone who came by bus were surprised to see him come so early.
The Girl he liked "Nayumi" was also surprised to see him come so early. She was guilty of the incident that happened previous day. She wanted to talk to him about that, but was unable to gather any courage to talk to him.
She came and stood next to him. Teacher had not come till then. Brian had already seen her but he was also shy about talking to her. They both were trying to look at each other and the moment their eyes met each other, they hurriedly moved it in other direction. They were trying too hard to talk to each other. The boy"Ronnie" who bullied Brian saw Nayumi standing close to him and shouted,"Nayumi ! stay away from him."
Nayumi and Brian turned to him together.
Brian was angry again.
But he was confident this time and not weak as before. He jumped straight into the fight with Ronnie.
Ronnie caught coller of Brian that made Brian super angry. Brian wanted to use his powers but he remembered the saying of his grandpa that he can not use the powers for his own interests and they are given to him for helping others.
Despite this he punched Ronnie straight into his chest. Punch was of less power but still enough to put Ronnie down. Everyone was surprised to see this behaviour of Brian. But Brian did not do anything after that. He just wanted to show Ronnie that he too can use power for his safety. The message was passed to Ronnie. He quietly went to his chair and sat there. Teacher came and started teaching . Powers of Brian were not only increased physically but also mental powers of Brian were increased. Anemia, megaloblastic anemia, pernicious anemia, amphixenosus, all were coming straight in his mind. He was able to learn all of it. He could literally imagine all the things explained to him by the teacher. He could see them as if he was watching them in his mind like a movie. Everything was joyful. But someone was there who was not happy.
Something was going on, in mind of Ronnie. He was not satisfied with what happened. He had decided something different. He was surely going to take his revenge.
In the food break time, no one came near Brian but that was normal for him because even in daily routine no one came near him. The difference today was that, even Ronnie was siting alone. He lost all his respect today. All his friends were making fun of him.
Nayumi went near Brian and sat with him.
Brian was confident in everything but in case of Nayumi he was still hesitant and confused. He felt very different with her. Even his diamond stone powers were unable to tell him anything . May be there was some other different energy flowing between Nayumi and Brian.
Nayumi - Hi Brian
Brian - Hey Nayumi !
Nayumi - Are you alright?
Brian - Yes I am.
Nayumi - I never saw you fighting before but today you were so different.
Brian - I am sorry if it hurt you but I was trying to do the right thing. I wanted to show that even I can fight.
Nayumi - But why do you want to show that ?
Brian - So that he won't think about hurting me again.
Nayumi - But why did you fight ?
Brian - Because he was fighting too.
Nayumi - So by fighting with him, aren't you both doing the same thing?
Then what is the difference between Ronnie and you?
Brian - I don't know. I never thought that way.
Foodbreak was over and words of Nayumi were striking in mind of Brian again and again.
"It seems she is more intelligent than even grandpa. Wow ! She is so wise "
He thought. He was learning so many wise things one after the other. But maybe there were many other things that were waiting for him to learn. After the dispersal, everyone came out of school and Brian left his school bus again. He went behind trees and jumped again into the sky. Within a few moments, he was near his home. He kept watching if anyone was watching her. Because grandpa had also told him to keep his powers hidden and use them only when actually needed.
But there was someone who was looking at him. It was Ronnie, who was following him. He also saw him flying.
He entered home, threw his bag and ran straight towards backyard, calling grandpa.
Grandpa came out of tree and asked him about his first day. Brian told everything that happened.
Grandpa snake told him that he should not use powers for such issues. "These issues require wisdom rather than powers and your heart will tell you by itself when to use these powers " he said.
Grandpa could realize that someone was listening to them and told Brian about this.
Brian tried to use his hearing ability that was also enhanced by use of diamond stone. He could also see beyond the walls by his x-ray vision. It was Ronnie.
Brian read his mind and found that he listened everything.
He told grandpa via telepathy that Ronnie had listened to them and asked his advice to handle this situation.
Grandpa asked Brian to catch Ronnie and bring it to him.
Brian flew with the speed of bullet and caught Ronnie and brought him to Grandpa snake.
Brian asked him ,"What did you listen Ronnie ?"
Ronnie - I heard everything and I swear I will tell everyone in school about you. You will be terminated and everyone will laugh at you just like you made them laugh at me. You will lose all your friends just like you lost mine.
Brian - Grandpa, should I try erasing his memory or take him to some forest and feed him to animals or may be you can bite him and I will throw him into the sea.
Ronnie was too much scared .
Snake grandpa - Wait Brian ! You don't have to use violence Everytime. I am sure if we will try to make him understand, he will listen to us and understand the situation.
Ronnie was looking with his big eyes at both of them.
Grandpa snake went close to Ronnie and sat on his shoulders. Ronnie was unable to even move. Grandpa snake looked into his eyes and some colourful lights started coming out of his eyes. He was trying some hypnotism on him maybe. Brian was surprised to know that grandpa too was not left unaffected by powers of diamond stone. After sometime, he climbed down from shoulders of Ronnie and told Brian that he has made Ronnie understand and realise the importance of these powers and he will not tell anybody. Brian could not believe his eyes and ears.
Ronnie didn't say a single word and went back to his home.
Next day, everything was fine and he didn't told anybody.
This incident made Brian realise that maybe Ronnie was just angry and snake grandpa removed that anger from his mind.
So he was really correct in saying that we don't need real powers to defeat bad ones. Even if we try to understand the people doing bad things, we can try to change them.
Finally the day was saved.
