THE BODY SHAME MURDER
It was 6 pm , Tia wore a beautiful , muffle top dress to the year end party at her bestfriend, Sheena's place .The muffle top dress could easily conceal her flabby curves .
She wore a 2 inch high heel and down the auto-rickshaw, she reached - 34, Peerless Street,
It being 31 st night , the alley fore Sheena's home was well lit .
She tapped at the door , after 2 sharp taps , Sheena in her bodycone attractive red dress with a champagne glass in her slender hand , opened the door !
Other folks partying there were Ritesh, Ajay, and Isha .
Crossing the threshold , Ritesh yelled -"The fatty buddy is here !!" , Isha continued -"We will face a shortage of snacks now!!" At this Tia turned towards the washroom , instead of heading to the living room .
The bathroom mirror stared at imperfect Tia , whose eyes were now full . The laughter outside started fading , when Ajay knocked the door saying , -" Did you get stuck in the steam , make it fast, come out !!"
Within seconds , Tia stormed out ignoring Ajay . She took the corner sofa seat , Sheena handed her a glass of champagne . At this Ritesh laughed saying ," Give her the full bottle , a glass can't satisfy a hippo" .
This made Tia low , she took the glass but kept it on the glass table and did not even take a sip . This was not the first time that Tia was abused by them , perhaps it was the infinitieth time .
They played various games , at each turn of Tia , she became the laughing stock . At around 10pm , Ajay , and Ritesh were severly drunk !!
They were playing cards , when Ajay's cell vibrated .
The call being important, he had to attend it . To avoid the loudspeakers , he slipped to the backyard .
Tia followed ,on her way she grapped a fork from the kitchen . Tia waited , concealing herself behind the date palm in the yard . As soon as Ajay turned to return , Tia with her weighty hands thrashed the fork through his neck . In seconds Ajay fell dead on the grassy ground .
She pulled the fork, piercing his filthy throat and went to the washroom, flushed the fork down the cistern and joined the game as if nothing happened !
At the struck of eleven , Isha's cab driver arrived and she left happily , perhaps her luck favoured !!
Now Sheena, Ritesh and Tia continued with the game, when they heard "Knock, Knock !!"
Sheena got up with a sigh to check the door and Ritesh went to use washroom perhaps for the last time !!
Tia walked after him , before Ritesh could enter the washroom and lock the door ,Tia grasped his neck and pushed his head down the filled bathtub , being overdrunk Ritesh could not do much to protect himself and gave way within minutes !!
Ritesh died a watery death in hippo's world .
When she came back , she found Sheena had not returned , Tia got the upper hand , spiked Sheena's drink along with her's.
Sheena came back irritated at her neighbour's interrogation about the party . Tia consoled Sheena ,asked her to relax and have a drink .
The New year's sun rose with Tia and Sheena on the hospital bed for consuming spiked drinks and other two lay in the morgue,- cold and numb .Yes it was a New Year !! Which whispered no more bodyshame to Tia's ears !!
