Aron don’t remember much about his mother because he lost her when he was still few months to a year. And his father always told me him about how wonderful Aron’s mother but because she had a rare disease and living in the rural areas with no proper medicine she didn’t make it at all and Simon who is Aron’s father had to take over a little boy who is only a year old trying to raise the boy and luckily God was on his side so he managed keeping the boy alive. Well... even Aron’s father doesn’t talk about her every time but... you could see from his eyes that he still misses her so much. One morning as Aron was at school a lady called Susan from the agricultural sector visited their house and she was interested in helping them so they can add more number in their goats. Luckily Simon was still in the house and about to take his goats to the veld so the lady knocked and introduced herself. Simon wasn’t just interested in what she was bringing to the table but he was interested in the fact that the lady was reminding his wife because of the fearlessness he had. Well... the lady seemed as she knew her job because in a year’s time Simon saw her impressive work and he couldn’t stop working with her because he was benefiting so much in the partnership they had. Susan after she saw that Simon was living alone with his son she became so interested in their lives and she popcorns in their lives popping every time she had a chance after work and during her lunch breaks as she was always bringing something for Aron whether it is something to play with or something else. When Simon noticed that Susan was now coming in their house without even invitation he knew that there was something more to her visits because it was beyond work and etc. Aron wasn’t noticing anything because he was a little boy but... his father did notice something and he wasn’t sure whether what is it that made her keep her coming in their house so one time as Susan came to their house as usual he began to ask questions and the lady was so secretive about her answers but... you know how women like to play like they don’t know while thy know exactly why they are doing what they are doing I guess she was too shy to come clean and I believe it was because she worried about the reaction of Simon but... I really believe that they are both two adults who can speak about such things if they had something romantic on each other. However, I guess Susan was just paranoid about Aron who will think she was there to take his mother’s place so his father will completely forget about her. Simon was really tired of being alone so he considers of trying something with her but... they were concerned about Aron’s reaction about the matter. Well... Aron as the child in the house he knew that he can’t come between his father and who ever will come and try to start a new life with because he knew that nothing will bring his mother back and he knew that eventually his father will wish to have another wife so Aron can have other brothers and sisters. So Susan and Aron’s father their meetings were not about expanding the number of goats only but... their affair was going good and promising and the funny thing about that is that they were doing it behind his back. As the boy wasn’t noticing anything for months but... one luckily afternoon as he was coming from school and the door were close at the house but the windows were open and there was music coming from the house so as he was approaching the house he noticed that they were people talking inside the house but he wasn’t sure whether who is with his father in close doors. So he opened the door the door was close and he knocked softly a couple of times but nobody was coming to open the door. However, he knocked even more harder as his father from his bedroom noticed that the boy came a little earlier from school and there was no way they can’t take much longer for the Aron to notice something was going on between the two of them. Unfortunately, Susan’s car was outside their house and if the boy saw her inside the house after so many times of knocking at the door. And Aron’s father that he was busted and caught right-handed on his secret meetings with Susan because even Aron was surprised by the sudden visit of Susan after he knew that she coming the next week to check up on the livestock and how much she has done her job. Surprisingly when Aron’s father was opening he bumped to her in the living room and they were telling him that they couldn’t hear him knocking on the door. Of course Aron didn’t mind them because nothing looked suspicious but... I guess we all know old people how smart they are to hide their affairs from their children. However, Aron went to the kitchen to look for something he can eat so he would rush back to the veld as usual to watch over the goats from the maize field and they were stories that if your livestock is found at the maize field that you will force to pay a fine or you lose them completely if the fine is not paid in time. Well... Simon and his son Aron were always careful about such thing to happen because they knew that their livestock is the only thing they have and live for.by the way Aron left in the house while shocked about why the boy wasn’t mad at them after he found them knocked inside the house and they opened the door after many minutes I guess guilt was going all over their mind for not being more extra careful about their secret meetings when he is not around.
