CHAPTER 6

He just entered the hall and saw the dusty piano on the other end of the room. Without wasting anymore time he reached the piano and cleaned it using his hands.…the dust was so much that he had to cough. He hadn't ever seen this model of piano in his life..it was too old fashioned….with only a couple of complete octaves…here too a few keys were missing…again he was caught up in confusion.
What was he supposed to do now. Since there were 2 thick glass windows in this hall, it was easy for him to observe the piano carefully for clues. But there weren't any. He tried pressing different keys, he even tried different chords that he learned a while back in school. Nothing seemed to be working. He was beyond frustration. He took the black piece of paper which contained the first clue from his pant pocket, just to check if he had missed anything. He checked the line again. He didn't miss anything…all it said was about the piano….and what was he supposed to do then.
His hand just slipped and the paper fell from his hand and landed on the floor. When he bent down to take it, he saw something else written on the paper…after he took it, he realised that there was a second clue on the back side of the paper. How so foolish of him, he thought to himself. So the 2nd clue on the back of the paper was this,
"Everything you see matters, EVERYTHING"
OHH GREAT…..What the hell is this…the first one was at least a riddle..this one…was it a quote..or an information for him..or his second clue?.. well he was tired and sat in that old sofa lying next to the table where the piano was. He started thinking deeply. Everything u see matters…...so when he went to check out the computer keyboard…it did matter...the PUZZLEMASTER knew I would go there first…so going there was not insignificant after all. He remembered seeing specific letters inscribed in that keyboard..he guessed that it was in the order

YES..EXACTLY…THESE LETTERS CAN BE FOUND IN A PIANO ALSO, he thought.
He moved towards the piano now and started pressing the keys in the corresponding order, even though he knew it wouldn't play any sound. Much to his dismay, nothing happened..maybe he forgot something on the PC keyboard…so again he started his way back to that room..to take a closer look at the PC keyboard.
He folded the black piece of paper and tucked it again in his pocket. He reached the PC keyboard and took it in his hands to take a closer look at the space bar.. it was the same order in which he pressed the piano keys, A,D,F,G…so what was the mistake.
He scanned the keyboard top to bottom for some other piece of clue. From the very beginning, something was disturbing him. Did the missing keys in the keyboard have any significance? The keys that were missing in the keyboard were the numbers 1,4,5 and the LEFT ARROW KEY.
WOW..THE LEFT ARROW KEY IS MISSING AND IF IT WAS PRESENT IT WOULD BE POINTING DIRECTLY AT THE SPACE BAR.. AND IF THE LETTERS IN THE SPACE BAR WAS READ FROM THE DIRECTION OF THE LEFT ARROW, THE ORDER WOULD BE REVERSED..

SO THAT WAS THE ORDER IN WHICH THE KEYS SHOULD BE PLAYED IN THE PIANO…. BRILLIANT
He rushed back to the hall with the answer in his mind. He was also getting thirsty. He went straight for the piano and played the keys in the sequence

And he waited…just when he thought it didn't work…a sequence of keys in the piano started playing itself…that sudden sound in the quiet room made him stumble back a few steps towards the wall…it was an eerie Melody to hear and it stopped all of a sudden. He was still transfixed to the wall at that sight. And a piece of black paper emerged from between the keys..with a little relief of solving his first clue he inched near the piano..
AND THIS TIME, I WILL MAKE SURE TO CHECK BOTH THE SIDES OF THE PAPER, he chuckled.
Just when we was about to take the black piece of paper for his second clue, a white piece of paper started emerging from between the adjacent keys at the end of the piano..
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ALL ABOUT, DONT TELL ME I SHOULD SOLVE 2 CLUES AT ONCE, U GOT TO BE KIDDING ME..
