Sheen Benz, a boy from an Anglo-Indian background, lives with his mother in the slums of Kolkata. He has spent his entire life in these slums, surrounded by people who bear the curse of being born poor. His days are filled with the company of others like him, moving around the streets, playing in the muddy roads, and navigating through heaps of trash. Often, he would catch glimpses of his reflection in the shiny mirrors of the towering buildings, which sparkled brighter than the light in his own eyes.
For a long time, the only suffering he knew was the pain of not having enough money. Each day begins with him standing in line for water, and later, he ventures into the city with his friends, hoping to find something more to eat than a single chapati for breakfast while his mother go for work in the city as a maid .
One day, during one of these excursions, he encountered a group of boys from the city. As they approached, Sheen sensed the familiar tension of the alpha versus commoner...
