There is always a wish in my mind to learn the English language well. I studied in school in Assamese medium, which is my mother tongue. In B. A. I took English as my major subject. I had to struggle a lot to learn the language. My lecturer advised me to read news papers, magazines to learn the language well. I listened to his advice and made it a habit to read newspapers and magazines. But there is limit of time always. As I am the bread earner also. I use to do tuition. Now also I do. I learn while I teach also. I tried to write a few poems in English. Sometimes I write short articles in a local daily newspaper published in English.
I used to write diary in English. I love the language and the subject of English literature. But I write in my own language Assamese also. I have a great desire to learn English well. The process of learning is going on. It will be continued till I learn it to a great extent.
