The Murder of Mr E. LePhant
Mr LePhant has always been the tyrant in the village. He was frowned upon by all the villagers because of his oppresive ways. His large size and unfriendly demeanour do not help at all.
One night, Mr LePhant went for a walk after dinner. After two hours, he did not return home. His family was worried and decided to make a police report. The police started a search through the village and nearby woods.
Three hours passed but there was no lead nor evidence. No trace of Mr LePhant at all. As though he disappeared into thin air. Then, a sniffer dog began to take interest in a nearby creek. The K-9 unit rushed to the barkings of the dog. They were horrified to see Mr LePhant lay stiff in the creek. But there were no footprints leading to the body. So the puzzling question is how did he die?
Actually nobody cared about his death. They were secretly elated as the tyrant was gone forever. But everybody was still curious about his death.
Was it the army? The battalion? The regiment? Only they could topple the big guy. After a careful search, the forensic team found traces of evidence that could be the cause of Mr LePhant’s death. The traces of footprints were so scarce that they were easily mistaken as part of the nature. So who were the murderers? Mr LePhant was attacked by the forces and he simply could not defend himself. It was the army, the battalion and the regiment. But they could not be court martialled. Why?
It was the army of ants, the battalion of bees and the regiment of rats… 😂😂
