FGM, also known as female circumcision is a ritual ,cutting or removal of some or all of the external female GENITALIA . This practice is found in Africa ,Asia and the middle east within. communities from countries in which FGM is common- UNICEF estimated that 200 million women living in 30 countries,27African countries, Indonesia,Iraq,Kurdistan and Yemen. undergoes this and over 3000 women are under the possiblity to undergo this practice. according to them,the practice should be given to every woman before the age of 5. This practices involves the removal of CLITORAL HOOD and CLITORAL GLANDS, removal of THE INNER and OUTER LABIA and closure of the vulva in this last procedure is called INFUBLATION which involves the creating of a small hole in a womans' VAGINA for urination,menstral flow,sexual intercourse and childbirth.
Most of the reasons why people die in the process of child delivery is due to this or there could be a situation whereby the stomach will operated on for delivery. (CS)
People still practice this up till date all in the name of preventing their child from having sexual intercourse or having an affair with the opposite sex(male).this is completely wrong.
All that is expected of them is to educate their ward on the consequences of early pregnancy and the values and beliefs of their religion.
People claim that its part of their values but,all this values could also be corrected or changed even with the international efforts since the 1970's to educate the people on the causes such as recurrent infections, difficulty in urrinating and passing menstral flow,development of cyst,complications in child birth and so.
Cyst,is a closed sac I.e when cells are grouped together to form a sac. and a sac is like a manner which water molecules comes together to form a bubble.

Even when a female child gets pregnant there are other ways to solve the matter other than circumscing a female child just few days after birth. its wrong!! and i believe that a girl starts to make her own decisions when she turns an adult. by then,she will know her rights and wrong. that is why its advised to educate your children on matters like these rather than letting your child go through painful implications like this.
Female Genital Mutilation (FGM),female circumsion is wrong!!! and i stand for it. How can parents continue this unhealthy practice in this society knowing the consequences. What a shame!!!!! even parents around the world up till today still practice this which is very wrong!!! Female Genital Multilation should stop its WRONG!!
