The scandal could ring the death of his career. The naked woman in his bed lay with unseeing eyes staring at him. He stood over her with a knife in his hand and no memory of who she was or why he had killed her. He lost control of himself.

'Why I can no longer know about her death?Am I the one who killed her?'

He was frustated after all but he manage to think because he knew he would fuck up of his carreer. He looked at himself in the full body mirror. He was wearing only a white shirt with a blood stain. He took a deep breath to calm his system. He needs to think clearly. He cannot lose his career. So he decided to call his manager for help. He pick up his phone and dialled the number of his manager david at the same time his friend.

'Joey! bro, what's up?'

'David, I need your help.'

'What happen bro? Are you alright?'

'Just, Just visit me in my house right now. It's emergency.'

'Are you okay? What's happening?'

'No more question david just come over here. And please, don't bring others.'

'Okay, I'm on my way.'

After the call he decided to take a bath first. He made sure that all the doors and windows were closed before he entered the bathroom. He quickly undressed and wrapped his clothes in a plastic bag and threw them in the trash.He bathed naked and rubbed all the dirt on his body especially when he killed the woman.

'This is all wrong, why I can't remember her?'

As he thought about what happened earlier. He just remembered that they celebrated with his crew members because their movie hit. He turned off the shower and took the towel and wiped his body well. He came out of the bathroom with only the towel wrapped around his waist. He was about to get dressed but suddenly his doorbell rang. He hurriedly out of his room and peeked at who was ringing the doorbell. He was relieved to see David.

'Bro, you are weird now. Why did you suddenly call. What emergency are you talking about?'

'Will talk about it inside.'

He let david in and offered him to sit on the sofa. He was about to sit in front of david when he suddenly spoke.

'Bro, your gross! Get dress up man. I can see what's inside your towel.'

He had no choice but to get dressed. He entered his room again and the woman's dead body immediately appeared to him. He knew in himself that he was not the one who had killed the woman. So he needs david's help. He left the room immediately after he got dressed.

'So, what's the emergency that you talk about bro? I was in the middle of my romantic night with my babes you know.'

'David, what happened earlier?'

'What? are you still drunk bro? Of course we had a party with the teams.'

'Yes, I know. I know!'

'Are you okay?'

'After the party. Did I, Did I bring a woman?'

'You mean after the club?'

'Yes.'

'Bro, you hella lucky with that beautiful woman you bring earlier. Where is she by the way?'

He frozed of what he said. It was confirmed that the woman was with him when he returned home. He wiped his face with nervousness. He stood up because he could not control his emotions. David noticed his action and confronted him.

'You didn't answered my question Joey. Where is she?'

'She's, she's dead!'

'What are you saying Joey?'

'David, I told you she's dead.'

'You're joking right? right bro?'

'I didn't called you for this kind of joke.'

No one speaks to the two of them. They just looked at each other and you could see the confusion on their faces. He was shocked when David suddenly stood up and punch his face. He fell because of its sudden onset and was unable to balance.

'What have you done Joey. What have you done!'

David was angry when he face him again. Ever since he met david he has been a simple person and easy to get along with. Now he just saw how angry it was. In fact, who would not be angry at the stupidity he did.

'What will happen in your career as an actor if this news will spreads joey.'

'I know, that's why I need your help David.'

'You know, your an idiot! How did this happen?'

'I-I don't know. I just woke with that dead body. I didn't remember what happened.'

'You mean, making out with that woman didn't come out with your mind? Oh, come on Joey!'

'Believe me, I swear I didn't killed her.'

'Where is she?'

'I said where is she Joey?'

'It's in my room.'

David suddenly ran to my room. So I just followed him. When he opened the door he immediately faced me because of what he saw. Who isn't afraid of the abomination of the victim. I can no longer count how many stab wounds it received.

'What really happened Joey?'

'I told you, I don't remembered the details. I woke up holding a knife beside her.'

'Come on! You know you can count on me.'

'David, you won't believe me?'

'I-I don't know!'

'It's okay, I understand. What I did is inhuman. So who am I for you to believe me.'

'We have to make a plan. Your career will definitely fall down Joey.'

'What we need to do then?'

'We need to bury her Joey.'

'You mean cemetery?'

'No, they will notice us. We will bury her in the backyard of your house.'

I had no choice but to follow what David said. He is the only one I can hold on to now. We carried the woman's body to the back of the house. It was still naked while we were carrying it.

'Joey, get the shovel. I'll be the one who search the area where we can bury her body.'

I immediately went back to my house and get the shovel. When I came back David was standing beside the woman's body. He told me that he saw a good spot so we carried again the body and go to the area that he said.

'This is the last time that I will help you Joey.'

'I'm sorry David for this situation.'

We started digging and no one spoke to the two of us. We're focus on our job. We were full of sweat and eventually we also finished digging. We took the corpse and threw it into the grave. We continued of what we did until we were buried her body.

'This, this will be our top secrets. And no one will know about it Joey!'

'I know, I don't want to be imprisoned. I don't want to ruin my career.'

'If you are not stupid yet, you killed that woman'

'I don't know, I did not kill her. I just woke up with a blood stain and a knife.'

'Don't worry, this is between the two of us. I just need to go home and take a bath. This blood is stink.'

'Thank you David!'

'And by the way, don't forget to clean your mess.'

I just nooded on him. I thanked him again before he left. Now, I need to clean my house so that I can finally rest. My head is aching due to the dilemma.

'Hey, Joey! how are you man?'

'I'm fine. How bout you!'

'You know me well Joey. I'm still fine man. I heard you'll take your vacation. You didn't invite me!'

'Ohh, I'm sorry Greg. This vacation was unexpected. I realized I just need to relax for the hectic schedule.'

'You need that man. After the biggest project that you'd made. You need to treat yourself sometimes.'

'I know, don't worry man. I won't forget to bring you souvenir.'

'Wow, that's my Joey. Ohh! I need to go back to my work. David will get mad at me. You know, lately he's not in his usual self.'

'Yeah, I noticed it too. I'll just talk to him.'

Greg is one of our team. He is also nice to talk to so you can really prolong your conversation. After our happy conversation. I decided to go to David's office. Week passed by, I realized that I need to take a short rest. So, I contact David to tell him that I want to have a vacation. At first he didn't convinced it but later on he agreed.

'David, are you there?'

I knocked on the door but no one spoke. So I decided to enter. Even though David and I are friends, I still respect him because he is my manager. I scan the place and he's nowhere.

'David?'

I call him twice but no one answered. Until I heard that someone used a water in the Comfort room. So, I presume that David was inside of it. I sat on his Chair and waited for him. Minutes passed but he's still inside so I get bored. I scan his documents and saw my latest movie and I smiled that it hits a cost of million dollars. When I'm busy scanning the papers, I saw a brown enveloped that was about to pop out on his drawer. I pick it and got confused cause my name was sealed in front of it. I was about to open it when someone grabbed the enveloped.

'What are you doing here Joey?'

'I'm here to see you!'

'For what?'

'For my vacation. You agreed on it right?'

'Right, I'm sorry. I forgot about it.'

'By the way, what's inside of that envelope? My name was sealed on it.'

He stopped of what I said and looked at me seriously. Greg told me that David is not in his usual self lately and I noticed it too but I didni't know that he changed a lot after what happen last week.

'This is none of your business Joey.'

'It's my business David. My name was sealed on that envelope.'

'This is just a documents in your new project.'

'Really, can I saw it?'

'Nah, you can saw it next time then. Remember, you have a vacation.'

I'm not on the mood to argue with David that's why I Ignored of what he said. I trust him, he's my friend afterall.

'So, when do you want to start your vacation?'

'Tomorrow, I already booked a flight.'

'Where?'

'Hawai.'

'Enjoy it then!'

'Are you alright? We noticed that you've changed a lot.'

'I'm fine Joey.'

'Is it because of what I've done? Don't worry, I slowly figured it out.'

'What? I mean, just don't mind about what happened last week. It was already done.'

'I can't stop David. I don't even know what's happened.'

'That's why you need a vacation. You need that.'

'You're not okay David.'

'I am.'

'You're not.'

'Stop Joey, just live me alone.'

'What's your problem? You can tell me.'

'Nothing!'

'Really?'

'I said nothing. You can go out now!'

I was shocked by David's rising voice but I just didn't say a word and left his office. Maybe, he's not in the mood. I went back to my house and pack my things on my bag. I was busy doing it when someone doorbell. I no longer looked at who rang the doorbell. I was shocked of what I saw after I opened the door. My hand are trembling due to nervousness but I managed to asked them a question.

'What can I do for you.'

'Mr. Joey Smill you are under arrest of killing Ms. Rose Klir.'

'Wait, wait! I didn't know what you're talking about.'

'You'll explain it at percinct.'

I saw a lot of medias and people who taking pictures with me. I also heard a lot of questions that they threw on me. I'm still confused but I have already a hint. I'm so frustrated. My career will gonna fall down. My name ruined in an instant. I felt lose of a sudden change.

'So, tell me what happen Mr. Joey.'

'What are you saying?'

'Don't be dumb Mr. Joey!'

'I didn't killed that woman. I didn't know her.'

'Really?'

He handed me a lot of photos with that woman and the worst part is I'm with her. I froze when I saw it. The pictures was taken on our Party. This was last week. From now then, I realized it was all a set up. Then who would do this to me?

'So, do you recognize her?'

Because of over-thinking. I can no longer answer the question they throw at me. They decided to call my manager which is David and my attorney. I am depress!

'Joey, thank God you're okay! What happened?'

I told David everything. He just listen on it together with my attorney. They told me that everything is alright and I can get out too. I believed them but it turns out that I was betrayed!
