He Whom Seeked
Along the jingles sways new life
Soft touch upon your shoulder
Worn smiles across your faces
Women, children, and strong men
All ages. All creeds. From many lands.
Much adornments of achievements
Be not given by the Creator
Blessed we are; sit beside me
I will share with you a tale.

A man rode on a horse into the village
Shadowed with anguish guised as chivalry
Heavy shoulders weary from burdensome travels
Lifted up his head seeking, wanting what his ambition could not give
Humbly the chief's daughter brought him water from the river
Touched by the Sun's warmth of care, provider of youth and presence
Drink, nourish, rest your body and spirit
Lie down on buffalo skin next to the fire.

Way high in the sky bright stars dance
Uplifting worry, discontented, restless minds
Let go and venture with profound belief
Where your heart will take you
Warmth of heat by the campsite flames
Within the sparks a vision may appear
Face of a loved one; homefront, an ache may begin
Inward pull felt drawn out by a sigh into the night
Grab Wisdom by the hand
welcome in your encompassing compassion - understanding faithful loyalty.

His spirit danced up into the sky
And he never woke up again...
