You completely and utterly broke my heart. You tore it to shreds. You reeled me in with your erringly delightful manners and high-jinks charming ways.

You pulled me into a temporary calm, mistakenly peaceful serenity, and a false sense of safety with your words of distorted compassion, friendship, and love.

You made me believe that you were a true friend and confidante. But, you were merely laying the trap. You lured me in, locked the doors and barred the windows of my cage.

Then you laughingly hurled the keys into oblivion, and totally and irreversibly demolished my mind and spirit.
