He's a 10 but he stood me up
and under this pouring rain I realize I've been standing dazzed, and in all my haste not to be late
it's past 9 and he's late.

But I could wait,
The night is still young and if I stretched a little, my legs wouldn't hurt so much besides, he's worth it .

He's so tall so kind always right, and the only guy who's ever said hi,
so I'll wait.
I bet he hasn't seen my 8 messages or the 7 missed calls since I recall he's a bit forgetful.

Like that one time he was suppose to meet me at the little cafe that I like, well that he likes and now we both like.
It was around the 6th block, but he got lost and ended up with a girl who looked just like me.
Well she was a bit taller at 5'4, and I'm a bit shorter at....., well I don't know, but I know he likes them short and I'm shoter.

Also the time he called to pick me up at 3.
I did wait a bit but we ended up going for a ride with a few of his friends.
We talked about us and well I talked about us, he listened and talked about horse.

He's such a sweet boy
always made me feel warm, like I wasn't by myself and all alone in this ugly world.
Except for right now,
standing dazzed under this pouring rain I realize 2 things, 1 Austin is really really bad with numbers, and d other....
I'm still waiting.
