Author's P.O.V.

After Julia's sudden outburst Ishanvi felt it a bit wierd , her thoughts acting like a latch in her mind they just won't go away . But not wanting to let Julia know she simply hugged her .

"Stop being so clingy all the time." - Julia
She playfully spoke while chuckling softly .

"Why not? I have all the rights to."- Ishanvi

"Yes , yes afterall you are the one who gave birth to me no?"
Julia spoke sarcastically to which Ishanvi laughed and kept laughing until she had to sit on the ground to calm her breath and her aching stomach , which was the result of all the laughing she did.

"God..you are funny."

Ishanvi spoke amused and chuckling and Julia simply sighed then saw one of her dad's guard coming their way to which she tilted her head slightly frowning puzzled as to why the guard was coming her way?

He stood in front of her and Ishanvi also stood up dusting off her saree and standing neatly and elegantly, no one would've ever thought she is the same person she was just a second ago.

The guard simply bowed his head slightly as respect and then looked up and conveyed the words of the Duke to her.

"His grace is asking for your presence princess."

Julia's P.O.V.~

I looked at the guard confused and glanced at Ishanvi to which she gave me a small and agreeing nod , then I followed the guard to dad's office.

"You asked for me , dad?"

I asked entering inside and he gestured me to sit down , I sat down on the sofa in his office waiting for him to speak , he was as usual sitting on his chair leaning back fingers clasped and today wearing blue uttariya .

"We will be leaving for palace today ."

And he dropped an arrow on me , why the palace? no way..did his majesty passed away?I spoke in a low and hesitant tone.

"Why dad?"

"His majesty passed away today in the morning."
And I was stunned .
