"Lollipop! lollipop!..."That's my phone ringtone,it's Jensen's call.I smile,of course his my best friend why wouldn't there be a smile.I pick up the phone and the tone in his voice was worrying.He had call me over saying he needed my help.
Quickly on my motorbike I sped off to his place.I rang the bell.The watchman opened the gate it was almost six in the evening,I almost knocked the gateman down I ran towards the door knocked still confused trying to guess what might have happened.
He opened the door and smile I got in. The view that caught my eyes had me glued at the same spot for some time.The living room was decorated in red flowers and candles.Any girl would have loved it.
"What was the urgency for?"I asked.He said there was this girl he was interested in.So this whole decoration was for her.The girl must be lucky.I know my friend he must have hit the jackpot he's choice when it comes to girls we know nothing about.
I was happy for him.Today was the day he was to propose to her and he chose just me to witness,what a privilege.Infact I was going to meet her for the first time.She must be quiet a gem,my friend hadn't mentioned about her at all.Mr.Romeo was looking all romantic today.He moved close to me,his hand slowly touching my face.What was he doing?He moved even closer and a leaned forward and I felt his lips he kissed me gently.It felt like I have always wanted it to be like that.
"It's you Grace,it has always been you,it will always be you."Tears just flowed I couldn't believe that was happening.We hugged didn't feel like even letting go.I felt safe. Prince charming made me safe.He stood up and a pen fell his pocket,he bent down on one knee to pick it.Me still sitting there in my world of disbelief and again happy just mixed feelings.The "Will you marry me" that came from his soft, yet confident voice was unexpected.
Oook so this was actually happening I said "Yes".He held my hand and put that diamond ring on my finger slowly.I was the chosen one among many.What a beautiful evening!Just like the both of us.It had to be my best friend for me. God's plan that's what I thought.
