Last week my friends and I went to the riverside for a picnic during the vacation. We settled at a very fine place . The scenery was splendid. The grass and trees were waving due to wind , the birds were chirping, the river was flowing slowly and smoothly. Everything was fine , we were preparing for the food when I heard a voice where someone was crying . We listened closely from where the voice was coming, the voice came down the river bank . We hurried to the place and found a girl who was dragged with the flow of the river , helplessly. Another friend of mine and I jumped in the river ,we grabbed her and dragged her to the river bank . She had critical health . We set up a camp fire , which gave her warmth , we gave her food and some warm water. About after one hour she almost recovered. After that another voice could be heard from a far away distance , the girl said that it was the voice of her mother . Her mother arrived, thanked us and left with her . That day was a memorable day for me not because of the enjoyment we had but thinking that , that day I saved a life.
