Chapter 2: The Bake Sale

The day of the bake sale arrived, and Emily was up bright and early, busily preparing her donations. She had decided to make a variety of treats, including pumpkin spice cupcakes, apple cinnamon muffins, and chocolate chip cookies.

As she packed up her baked goods, Emily couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She was looking forward to seeing Sophie and Ryan again, and to being a part of the school's fall festival.

When Emily arrived at the school, she was greeted by Sophie, who was beaming with pride. "Emily! You're here! I'm so glad you could make it."

Ryan smiled, helping Emily carry her donations to the bake sale table. "We're glad you could join us. Sophie's been talking about your baked goods nonstop."

Emily laughed, feeling a warmth in her heart. "Well, I'm glad I could bring some treats to share."

As the festival got underway, Emily's baked goods proved to be a huge hit people raved about her pumpkin spice cupcakes and the apple cinnamon muffins were snapped up in no time

Emily couldn't believe how well the bake sale had gone. She had sold out of her famous chocolate chip cookies and had even received a few catering orders for upcoming events.
