Have you ever been driving home from work and wonder... or sit in your office in a highrise building and stair off into space wondering. What would my life be like if...? Where would I be if I had done this or done that, finished collage, followed my dreams or better yet... followed my heart.
We all do it, whether or not you are happy where you are at or not. I myself went to collage to make my parents happy and try to make something out of myself. But God had other plans, He said go but this isn't your path. As a young man who knew more than my parents, I went to prove to them that I was somebody. I just didn't know who...
I have had many jobs from owning my own business, landscaping, Sheriff Deputy, custodian, DNR laborer and assistant maintenance supervisor where I reside now. Yet I look back at all I have accomplished and still feel very empty.
What should I have done differently, why do I feel like I am still looking for the right fit. Why... I don't know! But what I do know is if I don't do my job 100% then someone else has to, and I can't allow that.
I must take pride in what I do... in everything I do to have a good out come. The choices that I make reflect on the type of person I am.
You may ask yourself why or how even what am I doing here. I still don't have the answer... but when I do I'll be sure to let you know.
So for now enjoy your drive home or your office in the highrise and just be the best at what you are doing for now.
