I came to a halt when I heard noises as I passed through an alley that leads to me and granny's hideout.

I quickly pulled out the masquerade mask I had with me and put it on. I can't take risk.It could be my dad.

"Get him! Don't let him get away!"

I frowned when I heard a man scream, before I could react,a hand pulled me behind a tree and I found myself trapped between a stranger and a tree

"Shhh..."

The scent of blood dominated my nosrils accompanied by a low pitch husky voice.

footsteps could be heard coming closer.They were headed towards our direction.I fumed when I realized he drew me into his mess.

Regardless,I can't let those men find us because granny needs me.I steadily and quietly reach out for my back pocket and withdrew the tennis I kept there.Then I threw it at a far direction to mislead them.

"Over there!"

someone yelled, followed by others, running towards the direction I threw the tennis. Confirming they had left, I pressed my hand against his chest and pushed him away.


"Hmm..."he grunt probably in pain

There were blood stain on his white shirt and I could tell he's hand is bleeding. I look up at him.
He's about 6'3 feet tall, fair skin and a muscular body. strong brows,deep and sharp eyes,thin lips and over all,he looked pale.


I supported him to sit on the floor. Before he could react,I tore his shirt off his body, revealing his sculpted abdomen which was bleeding profusely.

The bullet marks were terrifying and deep.I reach out to press hard on the wound to stop the bleeding and it stopped.

I tore some parts of his choth that was not stained with blood and insert it in his mouth.I yank off the pocket knife I had with me, along with a lighter.I gathered some dry leaves and lit it on fire before heating the knife in the fire I made.


"You had knife with you,why?"he asked weakly, his voice low not loud

I ignored his stupid question and insert the cloth he removed into his mouth again.

"Don't remove it again.They are still around."I warned and he gave me a nod

I sank the knife into his wound and his muffled scream filled the air.The bullet was deep so it took me a little effort to remove it. I briefly treated his wound and tie it with my pink handkerchief.


"Done,"I stood up, dusting my hand with a calm expression and turned to leave. I already did my best to help him so whatever happens to him next is none of my business.

he seized my wrist before I could take a step.I turned to face him with a frown.

"Remove the mask. I want to see your face"he ordered with a serious expression and I nearly laughed at his stupidity.

"Are you ordering me?"I pointed at myself, amused.

"No,I just want to see the face of my savior"he shrugged with arrogant.


I shook my head with amusement and squat to his level"let's play hide and seek then"

"why?"he asked,confused

"I'll give you two years to find me and if you successfully find me, I'll do whatever you want aside from killing.How does that sound?"I smirked.

"I'm in,I assure you that I'll find you before then"he gave me a determined look

"it's official,if you can't find me then you'll do whatever I want, still in?"

"I'm in.see you when I win,my people are here"

Almost immediately,a land Rover jammed it's break in the narrow bush path.The door swung open and two men came out and greeted him

"Boss..."they help him up and I stared at him.

"will you be save?"he asked me

"yeah,"I shrug

"what's your name?"

"Evvy"I responded.He nod and get into the car and it drove off.
