But is that REALLY where it's Headed?

TURN THE PAGE

📖

How many Black Eyes do I have to get before someone Listens to me? How many Nose Bleeds, Busted Lips, Broken Bones: How many Times can you fall down the Stairs in a Lifetime? I Fell more than Samuel L Jackson in Unbreakable! ... At least, according to him. Yeah that is right, I will NEVER call that Devil my dad again! I ran away, and for a long time, I did not look back. My Legs were getting very Tired though, and I was so Hungry, not having Dinner. So, I saw a Slow Moving Train on the Tracks and Tried to Jump it. I Lost my Footing and caught my Shoelaces on the Bottom of a Car. Somehow though, I Ended up on the Train, and Found myself Sitting Down.

There were others on the Train, but it was eerily Silent.

No one Spoke.

No one, Looked at Me.

So I just Stared out the Window, looking at the Scenery. I Noticed it was, in fact, Headed toward my House.

Who Knew?

So I Relaxed, and Fell Asleep.

I Dreamt about the Last Confrontation I had with the Beast.

He Hit my Mother in the Face and Broke her Nose.

The Bastard!

Then he Threw her against the Wall and I thought she was Dead.

She was not Moving.

So I grabbed a Kitchen Knife 🔪 and Ran at his Legs. He caught me with a Clothesline and Stabbed me in the Arm. Then he said.

"If you ever come back here boy," he sneered and pointed a Gun, "I'll Blow your Head off!"

Then he continued Kicking my Mother while I ran, hearing my Mom Whimpering in the Distance.

I went over to my Friend's House before long, and Stole his Father's Gun. When I First held it in my Hands, I felt Empowered and Emboldened.

It felt like God to me.

But I'd never Fired one before; and the more I held it, the less Confident I became.

I did not even know how to Check for Bullets.

I Stuffed it into my Pocket and Continued to Run. I had no Money, but I knew Several Stores had plenty of Money; but who's going to Listen to a Boy with a Shaky Pistol. And I did not have the Courage to go back to him.

I knew he was Faster than me!

So I hopped this Train.

The Gun went off too, but how did nobody Hear that!?

It was so Loud.

When I Heard it in my Dream I Woke up.

Now, no one was on the Train.

I was Alone. I went to go out to the other Car, nobody. And another, not a Soul.

"Did they Stop and not say anything?" I asked.

I was not supposed to be here, so maybe that is what happened.

Anyway, the Train seems to be going Faster and Faster.

I Hope they're going to Stop Soon.

I am worried about my Mommy. I Hope she is okay.

"Mommy, I Love you!"

************* *************

"I really don't understand it," the Officer said. "The Bullet in his Head did not come from this Gun, and they were the only Two in the House."

"Then how do you suppose he was Killed," the other Officer replied, "and by whom?"

The First Officer shrugged his Shoulders. "There's no Powder Residue on her Hands, couldn't have been her."

They both Shook their Heads.

"Godd*mn Miracle if you ask me," they both Left.

She Looked at the Body as they Wheeled out his Corpse. His Eyes were Bloodshot and the Wound still Oozed Blood. She was Battered, Beatened and Bruised, but Alive.

And as she Turned to Walk back into the House, she Swore she Heard an Odd Echo from Beyond.

"Mommy, I Love You!"

📖

Isn't it Interesting, the Mind really is a Remarkable Organ indeed. Her Son is Abused and Runs, though he wants to Protect his Mom. He Catches a Train, but Gets his Shoelace Caught, and the Gun goes off.

Do you think he even made it onto the Train? And if not, maybe .... just maybe, that Stray Bullet found its Mark in the Father.

But the Boy had a Dream, or Did he?

Maybe it was a Transition to the Journey Beyond.

Remember he Woke up and there was no one. And the Train, nonstop, moved Faster and Faster.

This is all just a Fantastic Tale of Destiny to a Tragic Lifestyle and one Possible Way it came to a Conclusion; but like all Great Mysteries, it Ends before Resolution.
