The diamond necklace on the mannequin looked familiar. She placed her palm on the window that separated them and leaned in closer, I was wondering who could that be?? At this ungodly hour but I was certain that the necklace was mine. I quietly went back to my room and start looking for it, I searched everywhere that I thought, it would be but it wasn't. Where did I keep this necklace?? I kept on thinking?? I left it in my drawer last night but how come I couldn't find it there? Who must have entered my room without my consent? Who took my necklace? ( wondering who could did this to me says my heart). But whatsoever, be the case I will find who is behind this! Is't mercy? No it can't be, she wouldn't do this. So to ascertain my curiosity, I asked her :
Me: Mercy Did see my necklace?
Mercy: No
Me: Are you sure?
Mercy: yes, but why are you asking me?
Me: Am just asking??
Mercy : Ok
Me: in case, You see it. Pls let me know.
Mercy: Ok. I've heard you.
Still pounding on my thoughts, I love this necklace, it was my birthday gift from my childhood friend Eve. What do I do? I said to myself, Naomi you have to calm down, take it easy and observe. Let's see how things is going to turn out. The next morning, everyone is ready to go for shopping and I said to myself Naomi this is time to set trap for this thief. As soon as they left, I called the electrician and inquire about someone who knows all about CCTV footage. He called back later to tell me the amount and quickly, I transferred the money to him. About 30mins time he came to our house and I showed him my room and he fixed the camera on my wall close to my television and set everything, including my phone so that I can go true it. So he left, after he left those that went for shopping came back and showed me what they bought and I was very excited not because of the gifts but because of the camera installed on my room. So that I can comfortably caught the thief without any stress at all. In the night, I left my GOLD wristwatch on my table and slept off, as usual I woke up and pray, I went straight to the bathroom to take my bath and after that, I dress up and came for my watch. Only to found out that my watch is no longer there and I told myself Naomi this is it, the thief has come again and do what he wants. I rich out to my phone to see all the whole drama. I open the footage only to see MERCY taking my wristwatch. At first, I thought it was a dream? Can someone's woke me up??. I was so shocked, filled with anger and I went straight to mercy. Where is my necklace and wristwatch?? She look so shocked and dumbfounded, I asked again, where is my necklace and wristwatch???. She said I don't know what you're talking about? I showed the video to her and then, she started begging and crying to forgive her. I was so ashamed and she brought those stolen items for me.
