Emily had always studied very hard for every test and for her next.
Monday, the 5th December she writes her last test for high school. Excitedly she exits the class room, "it's finally over!" She said with a sigh as she sat down on the school bench to rest after a long week of studying.
"Finally you can get out a bit with us now. Seeing that we just wrote our last exam. What do you say?" Asked Emily's friend Melissa. Emily agreed to 3 months of partying, drinking and terrible accidents. She met someone and fell in love. A love that lasted 3 years without her mother's knowledge. Emily is now 3 1/2 years into university, studying everyday and every night. Eventually her boyfriend left her because of issues on both sides, his private life and their relationship. After her 4th year graduation she finally made it to where her mom wanted her to be. With a degree and a secured job. Her mom constantly brags about her but she doesn't seem to be happy. She feels lonely but forms a smile everyday. She missed him but continued her studies and smiles for her mother anyway.
Finally at the top. Finally on the ledge. The roof. "It's finally over." She whispers to herself as she looks down and ... jumps.
